Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. meal
1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 egg
1 Tbsp. milk
water

Preparation

Mix meal, flour, baking powder, milk, sugar and egg together. It will be lumpy.
Mix a little water at a time to get consistency you want.
Drop in deep fat and fry.
