Cranberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small pkg. cherry jello
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 c. fresh cranberries
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 1/2 c. hot water
Preparation
    Dissolve jello in 1 1/2 cups hot water.
    Cook cranberries in 1/2 cup water until popped open.
    Combine jello, sugar, cranberries and pecans.
    Pour into mold or 1 1/2-quart Pyrex dish. Put in refrigerator until set.
