Christmas Bread(Julekake) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. lukewarm milk
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 citron, chopped
    2 pkg. yeast
    4 Tbsp. melted butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. ground cardamon
    2 eggs
    1 c. golden raisins
    7 to 7 1/2 c. white flour
Preparation
    Soften yeast in 1/2 cup of the warm milk.
    Mix remaining milk, sugar, salt and cardamon; add softened yeast and mix well.
    Add beaten eggs and melted butter and mix well.
    Add flour, a little at a time and beat after each addition.
    Add floured fruit.
    Knead dough on a floured board.
    Place in a large greased bowl and grease top of dough.
    Let rise to double in volume.
    Punch down and let rise a second time.
