Belgium Red Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head red cabbage
    4 or 5 apples, peeled and sliced
    1 c. vinegar
    1 to 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
Preparation
    Slice red cabbage.
    Add all other ingredients.
    Cook covered until cabbage is done.
    Serve hot.
    Goes great with chicken and pork.
