Marinated Asparagus - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. fresh asparagus spears
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
    1/4 c. white wine vinegar
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    1/4 c. chopped green onion
    2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. fresh ground pepper
Preparation
    Snap
    off
    tough
    ends of asparagus. Remove scales from stalks with
    a
    knife
    or vegetable peeler, if desired. Cover asparagus and
    cook
    in a small amount of water 6 to 8 minutes or
    until asparagus is crisp-tender.
