Buttercream Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. milk
5 Tbsp. flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. shortening

Preparation

Boil together the milk and flour until thick.
Let cool until cold.
Beat together the sugar, butter, vanilla and shortening until whipped.
Add milk and flour; whip.
