Molasses Crinkles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 egg, beaten
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. brown sugar
    4 Tbsp. molasses
    2 1/4 c. flour, sifted
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. ginger
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add egg and molasses.
    Sift dry ingredients together.
    Add to creamed mixture and mix well.
    Put in refrigerator 1 hour or more.
    Form into walnut size balls.
    Dip in sugar and place sugar side down on cookie sheet about 3-inches apart.
    Bake for 12 to 15 minutes at 375\u00b0.
