Crusty Fried Oysters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg, beaten
    2 Tbsp. cold water
    1 (12 oz.) fresh select oysters, drained
    1 1/2 c. saltine cracker crumbs
    vegetable oil
Preparation
    Combine egg and water.
    Dip oysters in egg mixture and roll each in cracker crumbs.
    Fry in hot oil (375\u00b0) for about 2 minutes or until golden brown, turning to brown both sides.
    Drain on paper towels.
    Yield:
    3 servings.
