Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. milk
    3 eggs, beaten
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Heat milk and bring to a scald.
    Stir into the egg mixture fast.
    Toast 6 slices of bread if thin slices (use 4 if thick slices).
    Butter and cut into squares; press into the milk.
    This will fit into a 2-quart casserole, greased.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Then lower oven to 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Shake cinnamon on top.
