Ingredients

2 1/4 c. flour
2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. soft butter or margarine
2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 c. quick cooking oats
1 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped nuts or sunflower seeds
Preparation

In a large bowl, combine all ingredients, except 1 cup flour, oats, chocolate chips and nuts.
Beat 1 or 2 minutes, until well blended.
By hand, stir in remaining ingredients.
Add one optional ingredient.
