Maple Syrup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. water
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. maple flavoring
    1 to 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation
    In heavy saucepan, bring water to a boil.
    Stir in sugars. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring constantly until mixture loses its cloudiness. Remove from heat and stir in maple flavoring, then butter or margarine.
