Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. butter (1 lb.)
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
4 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 c. milk
1 tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation

In a mixing bowl, cream the butter.
Gradually add sugar.
Beat well; add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each egg.
Add flour to cream mixture.
Add milk alternately with flour beginning and ending with flour.
Stir in extracts.
Pour into greased and floured tube pan.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour and 40 minutes or until tests done.
Cool for 15 minutes before removing from pan to wire rack.
