Ingredients

1 c. sugar
3/4 c. margarine or shortening
1 egg
1/4 c. molasses
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Mix into dough.
Roll dough into small balls, then roll in sugar (with a little cinnamon).
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
