Hot Curried Fruit - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. butter
    3/4 c. dark brown sugar
    2 tsp. curry powder
    1 large can pear halves (28 oz.)
    1 large can apricot halves (28 oz.)
    red and green cherries (can also use regular pitted cherries, purple canned plums and walnut pieces)
Preparation
    Melt butter and sugar. Add curry powder.
    (If you like a thick sauce, add 1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch.)
    Drain fruit and place in a large flat casserole.
    Decorate with green and red cherries, if desired.
    Add melted curry sauce. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour. Serves 6.
