Vidalia Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cornmeal (self-rising)
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 egg, beaten
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    2 c. sweet milk
    2 c. Vidalia onions, finely chopped
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients except onions (batter will be thin). Stir in onions, mixing well.
    Pour into well-greased iron skillet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until light brown.
    Let cool 10 minutes before serving.
