Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. corn meal
1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 Tbsp. cooking oil
2 eggs, beaten into 1/2 c. buttermilk
2 tsp. parsley flakes

Preparation

Mix ingredients together into a batter.
Drop by spoon into hot grease.
Fry until tender or roll into small balls.
Drop in hot grease and fry until brown.
