Mom'S Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 eggs, beaten
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 pt. milk
Preparation
    Mix ingredients.
    Butter custard cups (6).
    Optional: Raisins and pieces of bread may be put in cups.
    Pour mixture in cups and top with a dusting of nutmeg.
    Put cups in a 9 x 13-inch cake pan with a small amount of water in bottom of pan.
    Bake 1 hour at 375\u00b0 or until a knife comes out of custard clean.
