Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. white sugar
    1 c. white syrup
    1/2 c. water
    2 c. peanuts
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine sugar, white syrup and water.
    Cook until thread.
    Add peanuts and butter.
    Cook until light brown, stirring continuously.
    Don't scorch.
    Add vanilla and soda.
    Pour in a buttered pan.
    Cool.
    Break in pieces.
