Layered Tostado Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    15 oz. beans *
    8 oz. tomato sauce
    1 envelope McCormick taco seasoning mix
    1 box (12 count) Old El Paso tostado shells
    6 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In a skillet, brown beef and drain. Stir in beans, tomato sauce, taco seasoning and 1/2 cup water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, simmer, covered, for 10 minutes.
    In a 12 x 7 1/2 x 2-inch baking dish, layer half of the taco shells, half of the meat mixture and half of the cheese.
    Repeat the layers.
    Bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes.
    Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
