S.E.G.R.A.'S Sad Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. cake flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 (1 lb.) box light brown sugar
    4 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Sift flour.
    Measure and resift with baking powder and salt. Add eggs to brown sugar, one at a time, beating in well.
    Add flour mixture gradually; mix thoroughly.
    Add vanilla and nuts. Pour into a greased and floured 9 x 12-inch pan.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 35 to 45 minutes.
    Let cool.
    Cake will fall as it cools.
    Cut in squares.
    Top with whipped cream.
