Pretzel Salad Or Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. pretzels, crushed
    3/4 c. oleo
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
    1 large Cool Whip
    1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Mix first 3 ingredients.
    Put into a 13 x 9-inch pan sprayed with Pam.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
    Cool.
    Mix pineapple and cornstarch.
    Cook until thickened.
    Remove from heat and cool.
    Mix cream cheese and sugar.
    Cream well.
    Add Cool Whip, saving some for a topping.
    Spread cream cheese mixture over cooled pretzels.
    Pour cooled pineapple over top of cream cheese mixture.
    Top with Cool Whip, if desired.
    Chill.
