Broccoli Cheese Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. onion, chopped
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    6 c. water
    6 chicken bouillon cubes
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. fine egg noodles
    1 tsp. salt
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli, chopped
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    6 c. milk
    1 lb. pasteurized process cheese, cubed
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    In a Dutch oven, saute onion in butter.
    Add water and bouillon cubes. Bring to a boil and gradually add noodles and salt. Cook uncovered for 3 minutes.
    Stir in broccoli and garlic powder. Cook for an additional 3 minutes and stir in milk.\tAdd cheese and pepper and stir until cheese is melted.
