No-Bake Alaska Supreme - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 envelopes Knox unflavored gelatine
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/4 c. orange juice, heated to boiling
    1/4 c. coarsely chopped pecans
    toasted flaked coconut
    2 (16 oz.) cans whole cranberry sauce
    1/4 c. orange or cranberry liqueur
    3 c. (1 1/2 pt.) heavy whipping cream
    1 layer white cake (8-inch round)
Preparation
    In medium bowl, mix unflavored gelatine with 1/4 cup sugar. Add hot juice; stir until gelatine is completely dissolved.
    With wire whip or rotary beater, blend in cranberry sauce and liqueur. Chill, stirring occasionally, until mixture mounds slightly when dropped from spoon.
