Oyster Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. oysters with juice
    salt and pepper
    1 stick butter
    1/2 gal. milk
Preparation
    In a large heavy saucepan, pour oysters and juice.
    Salt and pepper.
    Cook over medium heat until simmering.
    Add 1 stick of butter and stir until it's melted.
    Do not boil.
    Pour in milk. Stir until warm.
    Be careful it doesn't get too hot or milk will curdle.
