Strawberry Surprise - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 1/2 c. crushed pretzels
1/2 c. margarine, melted (2 sticks)
1/3 c. sugar
8 oz. cream cheese
1/2 c. sugar
9 oz. whipped cream topping
6 oz. strawberry Jell-O
1 (10 oz.) pkg. strawberries, thawed or 2 c. sweetened fresh berries

Preparation

Mix pretzels with melted margarine and 1/3 cup sugar.
Bake 8 minutes as crust in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Cool completely.
Mix cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar and whipped topping.
Spread on crust. Prepare Jell-O and stir in strawberries.
Pour over cheese mix. Chill for several hours.
