Easy Lemon Meringue Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box (4.3 oz.) lemon cook and serve pudding
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 1/2 c. water
    3 eggs, separated
    1/2 c. fresh lemon juice
    1 (9 or 10-inch) pie shell, baked
Preparation
    Stir pudding mix with sugar, 1/2 cup water and egg yolks in a medium saucepan.
    Stir in 2 cups water and lemon juice.
    Follow rest of directions on pudding box.
    Garnish top of pie with slivers of lemon peel.
