Potato Bacon Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 slices bacon, crisp and crumbled
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 c. cubed potatoes
    water to cover potatoes in 3 qt. pan
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1 (10 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
    1 3/4 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    chopped parsley
Preparation
    Microwave bacon.
    Pop into freezer to help cool for crumbling later.
    In saucepan, place potatoes, water, salt, onion and bacon and cook until potatoes fall apart and liquid is thickened.
    Lower heat and add sour cream and soup.
    Gradually add milk.
    Add pepper and parsley.
    Heat to serving temperature.
    Do not boil!!
