Custard Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 beaten eggs
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 1/4 to 2 1/2 c. milk
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. almond extract
    nutmeg (as desired)
Preparation
    Mix 1/2 cup milk with beaten eggs.
    Heat 2 cups of the milk, then dissolve sugar in the milk.
    Add salt, vanilla and almond. Pour into a pie shell that has been baked for 5 minutes.
    Top with nutmeg.
    Bake 30 to 45 minutes at 400\u00b0.
    Cool.
