Apple Brown Betty - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 2) can sliced apples or 3 c. fresh apples
    1 stick butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 pkg. graham crackers
    1 c. sugar or 3 Tbsp. Sweet 'N Low
    cinnamon to taste
    nutmeg to taste
Preparation
    If fresh apples are used, cook over low heat, adding sugar or sweetener, 1/2 cube butter, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg.
    Cook for 10 minutes or until apples are soft.
    If using canned apples, mix spices, sugar, vanilla and butter into apples and heat.
