Oatmeal Softies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. unsifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. butter, at room temperature
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts, chopped
2 c. quick cooking oats
Preparation

Sift together flour, baking soda, salt and baking powder into small bowl.
Cream butter in large bowl until light and fluffy. Beat eggs and vanilla into butter.
Mix in the sifted ingredients one third at a time.
Stir in nuts and oats.
Drop dough by teaspoon.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
Makes 6 dozen.
