Hamburger Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean hamburger meat
    1 small onion
    salt
    3 or 4 medium potatoes, peeled and cut small
    2 or 3 carrots, sliced
    1 can tomato soup or tomato paste
    2 Tbsp. barley
    2 Tbsp. picante sauce
    1 can mixed vegetables
    1 can whole kernel corn
    water
Preparation
    Brown meat,
    onion and salt in nonstick pan or use Pam. When brown,
    add
    potatoes
    and carrots.
    Cover with water and simmer until
    vegetables
    are
    done.
    Add\ttomato\tsoup, more water, barley,
    can
    of
    vegetables,
    corn and picante sauce. Heat until hot and barley is done.
    Serve with cornbread.
