2.2 lb. rye flour
1 c. lukewarm water
1 cake yeast
1 c. warm buttermilk
4 cooked mashed potatoes
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Measure flour.
In bowl, mix 1/3 of that amount with 1 cup lukewarm water and set aside in warm place to ferment 24 hours.
