Pickled Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. squash, sliced thin
    2 c. onions
    2 c. bell pepper
    salt to taste
    2 c. vinegar
    3 c. sugar
    2 tsp. celery seed
    2 tsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Mix squash, onions, bell pepper and salt.
    Let set 3 hours. Mix remaining ingredients and bring to boil.
    Drain squash and add to vinegar mixture.
    Bring to a hard boil, then put in hot jars and seal.
