Cherry Crunch - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 white or yellow cake mix
1 stick margarine or butter
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
2 (21 oz.) cans cherry pie filling
Cool Whip
Preparation

Pour the melted stick of butter over the dry cake mix in a mixing bowl.
Stir with a fork until well combined.
(Mixture should form a crumbly dough-like ball.)
Stir in nuts at this point if desired; or if slightly crunchier nuts are desired, sprinkle them on top just before baking.
