Hot Tomato Kraut(For Canning) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 heads cabbage (medium)
7 green tomatoes
10 or 12 hot peppers
1 Tbsp. pickling salt (to each qt.)
Preparation

Chop cabbage, then dice up tomatoes and peppers; mix well. Put in quart jars.
Add 1 tablespoon pickling salt to each quart, then fill with water.
Let stay in a warm place for about 4 days and then tighten your lids tighter.
