Baked Custard - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 eggs
1/3 c. plus 1 Tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. milk, scalded
1 tsp. vanilla
nutmeg
Preparation

Beat eggs. Add sugar, salt and vanilla. Add scalded milk gradually, stirring constantly. Pour into a lightly buttered 1-quart baking dish. Fill a 9 x 13 baking pan 1/3 full with warm water. Sprinkle nutmeg on the custard. Set custard in the pan. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 50 minutes. Makes 5 servings.
