Carrot-Whole Wheat Pretzels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. whole wheat flour
    2 pkg. active dry yeast
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. honey
    1 egg
    1 c. grated carrot
    3 1/2 to 4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 beaten egg yolk or substitute
Preparation
    Combine whole wheat flour and yeast.
    Heat and stir butter or margarine, honey and 2 cups water until warm (115\u00b0 to 120\u00b0).
    Add to flour mixture.
    Add the 1 egg and carrot.
    Beat with an electric mixer on low speed for 30 seconds, scraping bowl.
    Beat on high speed for 3 minutes.
    Stir in as much of the all-purpose flour as you can.
