Barge Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    chopped celery (to liking)
    1 can drained mushrooms
    1 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix
    1 tsp. taco seasoning
    1 small can green chilies (optional)
    1 bell pepper (optional)
    sour cream
    cheese (American or Cheddar)
    2 c. white or brown rice
Preparation
    Brown meat and drain.
    Add 1/2 small carton sour cream and grated cheese to taste; simmer.
    While cooking mixture, cook rice (2 cups).
    Mix cooked rice and meat mixture together.
