Party Peas(Colorful, Tasty And Different) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
    1 large onion, chopped
    8 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 (4 oz.) jar pimentos, chopped
    1 c. water chestnuts, sliced
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
    3/4 c. croutons (plain or seasoned)
Preparation
    In a saucepan, boil peas just until defrosted (do not cook). Drain and turn into a 1 1/2-quart buttered casserole dish; set aside.
