Court Street French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 slices sourdough bread, cubed
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, cubed
    12 eggs
    1/3 c. maple syrup
    2 c. milk
    cinnamon or nutmeg (optional)
Preparation
    Place 1/2 the bread cubes in a 9 x 13-inch pan sprayed with Pam.
    Place cream cheese cubes on top of the bread cubes. Top with the remaining bread.
