Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
    14 oz. pkg caramels
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    3/4 c. butter
    1 c. chocolate chips
    1/2 c. nuts
Preparation
    Mix German chocolate cake mix as directed.
    Pour 1/2 of mix into a 9 x 13 greased and floured pan.
    Bake 15 minutes at 350\u00b0. Melt caramels and mix in evaporated milk and butter.
    Pour over baked cake.
    Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts over caramel mixture.
    Pour remaining cake mix on top of chocolate chips and nuts.
    Bake for an additional 20 minutes.
