Faye'S Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 c. mashed sweet potatoes
3 eggs
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
3 tsp. vanilla
1 stick butter, melted
3 c. milk (can use 1/2 cream)
2 1/2 c. sugar
2 deep dish frozen pie shells
toppings (optional)

Preparation

Mix all ingredients with mixer.
Pour into 2 pie shells.
Can top with coconut and walnuts.
Bake 10 minutes at 425\u00b0.
Reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake 40 minutes longer.
Cool on rack before cutting.
Enjoy.
Can top with whipped cream or ice cream when cool.
