Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 egg
1 c. vegetable oil
1 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. regular oats, uncooked
1 c. crushed corn flakes cereal
1/2 c. coconut
1/2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
Preparation

Cream the butter. Add the sugar, beating well. Add eggs.
Beat well.
Add oil and vanilla; mix well. Add flour, baking soda and salt to creamed mixture.
Stir in oats and remaining ingredients. Shape dough into 1-inch balls.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet and flatten with fork.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 15 minutes. Makes 10 dozen.
