Glazed Lemon Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. grated lemon rind
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. milk
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
    2 tsp. lemon juice
    2 Tbsp. powdered sugar
Preparation
    Combine butter and sugar in a large bowl of mixer and beat until creamy.
    Beat in eggs and lemon rind.
    Sift or stir in the flour with baking powder and salt.
    Add alternately with milk to original mixture.
    Fold in nuts.
    Pour batter into well-greased 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2-inch loaf pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 55 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Remove from pan.
    Turn right side up on rack to glaze.
