Pesto Appetizer(Makes About 40 Appetizers) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 oz. pesto sauce (can find it at Thriftway in cheese/deli section)
    1 pkg. pita rounds
    2/3 c. Parmesan cheese (must be grated, not the powder stuff in a can)
    ground black pepper
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
    Halve each pita crosswise.
    Brush the inside surface of each circle with pesto.
    Cut each pesto-covered pita circle into fourths.
    Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and pepper.
    Arrange pieces in single layer on 2 baking sheets.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Switch pans on racks and bake for another 8 to 10 minutes or until browned.
    Serve.
