Crackling Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising corn meal
    1 c. buttermilk (maybe more)
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. melted shortening
    pork cracklings
Preparation
    Mix corn meal, buttermilk, egg and shortening thoroughly, then add your pork cracklings.
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Bake until brown. (Bake in skillet.)
