Rice Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 (30 oz.) jar Prego sauce
    1 (15 oz.) cottage cheese
    2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
    2 egg whites
    4 c. cooked rice
    1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Spray 13 x 9-inch Pyrex dish with Pam. Brown beef and onion in skillet over medium heat.
    Stir in spaghetti sauce and mix well.
    In small bowl, combine Mozzarella, cottage cheese and egg whites.
    Mix well.
    In prepared pan, spread 1/3 meat sauce, 1/2 of rice and 1/2 of cheese mixture.
    Repeat layers.
    Spread remaining meat sauce on top.
    Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
    Bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
    Serves 8.
