Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 qt. popped corn
    2 c. brown sugar
    2 sticks margarine
    pinch of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. light Karo syrup
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Bring brown sugar, syrup, cream of tartar, salt and margarine to boil.
    Boil 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat; add soda and vanilla and beat down.
    Pour over popped corn and stir to coat corn. Place on cookie sheet.
    Bake at 200\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Stir every 15 minutes.
