Lois' Working Girl Batter Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yeast
    2 c. warm water
    4 c. self-rising flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 egg
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water.
    Mix all other ingredients well. Spoon batter into greased muffin tins and bake 20 minutes at 450\u00b0.
    This batter will keep in refrigerator.
    Keep covered.
