Lasagna Italiano - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium white onion, diced
    2 large cans tomato paste
    2 large cans tomato sauce
    8 oz. Ricotta cheese
    8 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
    1 lb. lasagna noodles, cooked
    1 lb. ground beef, cooked, browned and drained
    1/4 c. oregano
    1/4 c. basil
    1/4 c. garlic powder
    6 oz. sliced mushrooms
Preparation
    Combine 1/2 cup water, tomato sauce, tomato paste, ground beef, onion, mushrooms, oregano, basil and garlic powder in a large saucepan and simmer, uncovered, on medium heat for 1 hour.
